Lucky. You're actually going somewhere.
Things to do:
1. Get a crazy hard word search thing or puzzle and do that. If you're bad at puzzles, thats even better cause then it takes longer!
2. Annoy everyone around you and talk to them about the meaning of life.
Have a good trip. ^_^

i never sleep on planes either. if it is an overseas flight they usually have an in flight movie(sometimes 2!). u could bring a book or 2 they might serve a dinner listen to music but i would also try to sleep (it never works for me but u might want to try it if the flight is that long...)

I would bring some Tylenol PM so you CAN sleep. Those rides are such a pain, and you always seem to end up in a middle seat. Bring books, download word searches...there are movies on the plane too.

firstly, IPOD!!! (also, since the battery may die, you might want to buy a "cell booster" type thing. what this does is give you ipod extra battery life for like 8 hours or something. very convenient if your ipod will die after like 6)

also, you might want to consider a soduko book, or a word find, or crossword puzzle book.

You really should try to sleep. By the 6th hour, you'll just want the noise to stop. By the 8th hour, it it doesn't stop, you're going to want to scream. By 12 hours, you're going to be clawing at the windows. I was awake all the way to Japan and it nearly drove me insane. I slept on the way back and it was so much better.
