I have used the site several times and have saved some money. BUT remember there is no, none, nada, zero chance of changing you tickets. So make sure that you are going on the date that you have picked. The ticket has no value if you miss your flight or try to change the dates after they have been purchased. I have saved almost 50% on a last minute ticket but remember that the airlines did not sell you the ticket and will not help you if you miss the flight. (the only way they will help if the flight is canceled or if it's over sold.) I have used both name your price and also price line's set price. Also you do not get to pick the airlines and you will not get frequent flier miles, and finally you may not get the most direct flight. ie... I went from Edmonton Canada to Toronto and then to Houston my final destination. Was probably 3 hours longer and 2,000 miles out of the way but it saved my about $500. Hope this helps and good luck. Holidays are not the best as tickets are limited so the savings is usually smaller.
