I know he is American, and as such most Americans have to like him and support him, but he is not that great! He is good, but doesn't even belong in the same level as Federer. He has one of the worst attitudes of the game also. He now has the same attitude as His coach. People start realizing that he can't never be like Agassi or Sampras. James Blake on the other hand, has more promise and better marketavility than Roddick has. What do you guys think?

Hello, I've recently been playing with a lot more topspin on my forehand groundstrokes. I have no problem with low balls but usually if the ball is slow and a little higher up...I tend to hit them WAY OUT, esp on short second serves. It really irritates me b/c those are the balls I 'should' be putting away easily. Then I try to compensate for that and not put so much spin and I hit the net. I don't take lessons so I don't have a coach etc to get advise from.

Ana Kournikova, was a bad tennis player ,but the media(cauz her beauty) was making her a tennis star.
Maria Sharapova was made a star in tennis, even when she was in the 100 ranks in 2004.
Ana Ivanovici, Hansukova, Vaidasova were made stars in the making by the media, untill it was proven other wise.
They assume that if ur pretty then ur a tennis star in the making.
Just like the silly Hollywood movies, always heros are the good looking & the ugly is the vilent.

Hey, I play at the net and almost every return is a smash hitting about 90 miles per hour, and I can't seem to stop hitting that way, I see the ball and it's against my nature to not hit it. Recently I hit an amazing return that i would bet was my fastest return ever, but my hand made a crack sound when i hit it, and i got a nasty looking bruise from my thumb to my wrist. I have a match that I take very seriously coming up soon, and backing down is not an option, what can i do to help? (Also hitting softer is not an option, because i get caught up in the competition) PLEASE NO ONE WORD ANSWERS!!
