Hey, I play at the net and almost every return is a smash hitting about 90 miles per hour, and I can't seem to stop hitting that way, I see the ball and it's against my nature to not hit it. Recently I hit an amazing return that i would bet was my fastest return ever, but my hand made a crack sound when i hit it, and i got a nasty looking bruise from my thumb to my wrist. I have a match that I take very seriously coming up soon, and backing down is not an option, what can i do to help? (Also hitting softer is not an option, because i get caught up in the competition) PLEASE NO ONE WORD ANSWERS!!
