The thing about tennis is, if you're at all athletic, you can manage to stage simple rallies and get the ball going. It's never easy to take your game to the next level, which requires much more refined technique, mental strategy, and practice practice practice.
I think tennis is a great stress reliever, if you get into some nice long rallies, so even if you're not ready to take that step to become really proficient, it's still very rewarding.

For some ppl, yes.
For others, no.
My dad is an amazing tennis player. The best at his high school.
I had never even picked up a racket until I was at the age of 10, and I was a natural. I am the captain of my high school's Varsity Tennis Team, when I just started at the age of 10. While some others, on Junior Varsity, have been playing their whole life.
It just depends on the person, so why don't you try it, and find out!

It should be easy to hit the ball, but a lot of work to be a skilled player. Tennis is really a game of patience. It takes time. If you give it a good effort it can be fun and great exercise.

It all depends on if you are a natural athlete. When I started playing in 2nd grade it came pretty easy to me. If you work hard at it you will become a talented tennis player.

Well, dear...it depends on what you're made of. If you're an average person, average height, you've got hard work waiting for you. Tennis is a rather difficult sport, it may drain you out, but if you're totally into it, give it a shot. Best of Luck!
