Can I become a great player?

Absolutely no problem. In fact, if you start playing at a later age, you develop fewer technical difficulties and learn quicker as your body is stronger. Your game can also be altered quicker to a better one.
Becoming a great player requires an in-born gift of tennis. If you have the gift, I hope to see you as the next Sharapova.Keep up the hard-work. Good Luck!

of course. if you are talented you can deffinetly become a great player. if you wanted to become top 10,20, 30 in the world you would have needed to start earlier though

If you are not a very good player by 19, it might be difficult. Nothing is impossible though.

you'll learn faster, but ur chances of becoming world number one are much lower than if u had have started when u were 5

Yes...You don't want to start TOO young...Then you would just peak too early and your career won't last long...You're at a good age...
