Since Serena won the AO this year I think Venus will be motivated to win also. When Serena wins Venus wins.

when sticks in a clump , why don't the can have sharp mesh inside to break it up so it can be used ? instead it's like hitting a wall with a tennis ball .

Im 13 years old and i want to get really good at tennis for high school next year.
Is it possible to become good at playing tennis in 2 months over the summer? Do you have any suggestions on how to achieve that?

Thanks!

I hear about 3.0, 4.0, 5.5- how do I know where I am at? I have been playing for about 2 years now, I use a simple Prince racket and play usually everyday- barring weather conditions. I want to possibly learn about competition and maybe a coach.

i think nadal has the loudest grunt. or maybe he's the male tennis player who grunts most often. sharapova's equal, probably, in terms of grunting.

if you do find a video where their grunt is audible, please provide the link. thank you... :)

Everytime I am at the net, it seems like I have really slow reactions, and I can never get my racquet in the right spot at the right time/hold the grip right. How can I strengthen my volleys and overall make them better? I am on my college tennis team, so I know more than the basics on tennis, any tips you might know would help!

I am a senior in high school and I've never done any sports so I decided to do tennis this year. I don't have to actually "try out" because everyone gets on the team, but I wanted to know if it is really difficult to "get" tennis if you've never played before?
And also what kind of racquet would I need? I am small (5'4", under 100lbs) and I don't know how heavy they are or sizes or anything like that...

ok sorry for the total unspecificness of this question. But basiclly any advice would be good. thanks!
