I dont think Venus will. But again, there is no single dominant player in the womens side like there is in the mens side (Federer). It is possible but I dont think its likely. Now Serena winning another, I can see that.

I agree with you , I think Serena's win will gibe her a little fire in the belly. She did surprise a few years ago and win Wimbledon. The big problem i see is that she will have no seed and may have to play Serena early in a few majors and Henin is definitely not done or Sharapova or Mauresimo and even Hingis gives her problems with her change of pace game and her high tennis IQ, So I think she could win, but I would be surprised , very surprised. Good question though, I have been thinking the same thing since Serena played so well at the Australian Open. One more problem i see id that Venus has really been struggling with injuries, She is strong, physically, nut not a s Strong s Serena, than again most guts are not as strong as Serena, Congrats to Serena again, that was some of of the best playing and gutsiest playing have seen from a women or man playing in a long time,

Her only shot is if Serena gets injured again or loses her motivation. We all know that Serena has the ability to take over woman's tennis just like Mr. Federer is doing on the mens side right now. Venus or no one will beat her sister if Serena even plays 60% of the way she did against my favorite Sharapova in the Aussie Open Final. So, to me it all depends on Serena. If Serena tanks again, Venus has a shot at one.

No way. Unless every good player drops out. Venus and Serena suck. They are too interested in other things and should just focus on tennis or not play at all. Serena only won because a lot of players (like Justine Henin-Hardenne---who would have EASILY beaten Serena) were out for injury or prior committments. Both are overweight has-beens. And that's putting it nicely.

i think she will, serena said she was playing better than she is and look what she did at the AO. So I'm gonna go out on a limb and say she will take home the titles at Wimbledon and US open...since those are the tournaments where her best results happen.

This is a tough call. I mean, like you said she's a Wimbledon master but there are so many up and coming players. And you make a good point by saying that her game is declining, cuz it has lately. But I think that when she gets on her court (grass) she feels like she can win the whole thing and gets more confidence, so I'd say yeah, maybe 1 or 2 more Wimbledons is my guess.

I'd say no, but Venus is a champion, so you can never rule her out, but I wouldn't risk money on her...too injury prone
