Her win at the Australian Open showed how dominant she could be again. She easily disposed of Sharapova without much practice at all (she only had one warm-up tournament to the Australian Open).

Women's tennis is really weak right now with no really great players. That is why Martina Hingis came back last year.

Serena is so much more physically gifted than anyone else in the Women's top 10. I predict she will be #1 again by this year's end.

I hope she will not lose interest and keep on training. America needs more women at the top of tennis with Lindsay Davenport retiring and Venus constantly being plagued with injuries.

I think she sent quite a message that she will be a force yo deal with in 2007, what a start. She now owns the first major of the tear , you can not send much more of a message then that. The French will be a major test , definitely her weakest surface, Wimbledon she has to be considered the favorite unless she gets an injury and you know she will get a ton of crowd support at the US Open which is always a wild scene to be involbed with. I can not say it strongly enough if you live in the United States and are a big tennis fan you have to attend a US Open Might match at least once. There is nothing like it except some crazy Davis Cup Matches which are almost getting like soccer matches in Europe with the crazy crowds,

it would be foolish to doubt one of the greatest tennis players ever. However her bulky body looks unfit and is prone to injuries.
