Well Hardin has that problem where if she plays to much she gets sick , and she was really sick foe a while there. I know what you mean the women's tour is much better when she plays . How great is her one handed backhand to watch, if you want to copy a one hander hers is one to really study.
I never really get upset when player withdraw before the tournament because of injury, tennis especially at that level and on the hard courts really wears you down.
It does bother me however when players show up are not feeling so great and take there appearance fee and just tank. I agree with you there , that is kind of bogus. It seems to happen a bit more with the Gals then the guys. That is another one of the reasons i respect Federer so much, when he enters you know he is going to play to his fullest potential even on the Red Clay which you know he does not like so much. I have a feeling he is going to win the French this year, I think he is on a mission. If anyone knows if he is planning on playing the Italian Open this year I would love to know , and i hope ESPN is covering it.
I wish there was a tennis channel in the stated like the Golf channel so you could see a few more matches on the outer courts . That is my one big complaint about the majors except for the US ESPN , which in Direct TV anyway they show 5 different courts at once. I guess golf is still a lot more popular. I am not sure if it is true, nut I think I have heard that other countries like Canada and such have a tennis channel.

I do get sick of withdrawals. However would you rather a player plays when they aren't up to it or one who doesn't waste your time when they cant play. I don't think you should single out the belgians, many other tennis players are often injured, and withdraw. especially the williams sisters.

Clijsters has chronic injury problems that prevent her playing too much... which is why she's retiring at the end of the year. Henin also has health problems and is splitting up from her husband - understandably, she has divided loyalties at the moment.
