I do not understand the breathing thing at all, and I have some fear of the water if my head goes in the water. It's much harder for an adult to learn to swim, but there must be some specific steps to learn and practice, as I want to learn how to swim well regardless of how hard it may be.

iam quite bulky..but that doesn't really matter for now.. when i swim in a straight length, after a few minutes of continous swimming, i have to stop to take breath. how can i prevent that?
