Please don't let my lungs explode.....

I do not swim under water. I swim on top of the water. I snorkel under water and I dive underwater. When I do both of the above, I look at beautiful coral or fish or hunt for beautiful seashells. My mind is focused on the world down there; not even the time I think about.

Usually, I love the feeling of weightlessness. I like to pretend that I am on the moon, or flying.

Sometimes, I like to float facedown for as long as I can hold my breath and just glide on the top of the water.

I also think about how cool it would be to be able to breathe underwater.

I like being underwater as it is so quiet and calm. All your worries are washed away for a while.

I'll be scuba diving if I'm swimming underwater, so I'm thinking about looking at the fish - and occasionally hoping that the shark isn't one that will mistake me for a fish!

It depends - if I am holding my breath I think about how long I can hold it for. If I am using Scuba equipment I am thinking about lots of things- Air Supply, buoyancy, what is around me, time left before I have to return to the surface etc....

i count the seconds cuz if i'm diving you have to leave 3-4 seconds to swim back up.
or sometimes i lay down on my back on the pool ground (i can do up to 10 ft) and show off ;-) and then i think if anyone's looking.

the sensations...the feeling is almost overwhelming.
I also have an urge to discover.
if i'm in a swimming pool - i look for little details in the concrete or tile of the pool...or maybe the bugs.
if i'm in the ocean - i look for living creatures.
i also feel secluded and rather enjoy it.
