You can take a bath with either baking soda or white vinegar to take the sting out of the sunburn. I've used both and they seem to work. The other thing is aloe vera if you happen to have a plant around, it helps soothe the burn by rubbing the sap on your skin. If that doesn't work, buy some aloe vera gel with lidocaine at the grocery store, I had to do that for a severe sunburn because it hurt so much I couldn't sleep. Good luck!

Honey is supposed to be very soothing, along with a sugar paste.
Personally, I still go for the aloe-- but most people don't have that around the kitchen.

Put vinegar in your bath water. Also oatmeal baths help. I fyou have an aloe vera plant you are in luck. That is the best thing for it.

I found what works best: Make black tea and let it cool. Use the tea bag to wet the burned area with. The tannic acid and antioxidants in the tea soothe the burn.
