If someone is drowning, how long do they have until they can't breath anymore? How long can someone be underwater for before dieing?

im 13 and i dive a lot. i have been diving for years and last year i got my 1st level. this year i have grown a LOT. now i have love handals which make it really unconfortable to wear a bikini. unforunantly, i also recently got a LOT of pubic hair, so i have to wear the bikini shorts. i am screwed because if i wear a one-piece, i get self consciouse about pubic hair. if i wear a two-piece, i get slef-consciouce about love handals. i really want to go diving again this summer and i go swimming a lot too ... what next?? (oh btw i can't lose too much weight coz im still growing and i can't get a waxing coz i just can't...)

I'm a swimmer at my high school, and I want to find a diet that won't get me to cramp and will make me do my best :]

I am also wondering if run, does that build up your endurance in the pool? Or is it solely just "the more you swim, the faster you'll get"?

as far as l know,on the new local swimming pools the chlorine is being replaced by ozone.l guess that means that chlorine is somehow harmful to the swimmers.does anybody know why?

Right after I get out of the pool (usually an hour) I usually really need to use the restroom. However, whenever I do land sports (badminton, run, etc) I am actually dehydrated. I don't drink the pool water... nor do I drink excessively before swimming. Does this happen with anyone else?

Mrs wants to know as she has never been swimming on her period before and wonders what other women do. Do they wear a tampon? Not bother swimming? Or just swim and hope they dont bleed everywhere? Do swimming athletes have this problem???

Where can I find where some stores are to get some nice swimsuits that wont break my pocket. I have a swim party in May and I would like a Black, Halter Top, 1 Piece Swimsuit that wont break my pocket. Please. Every one with a good answer gets 1 Thumbs Up.

ok so every day in girls athletics (p.e) we have to run half a mile with in 5min. 30seconds. and if we don't' get it, we have to run another lap, and we get a 70 as a daily grade. do you think that that is right? i don't. what about the girls that can't run that fast? and is they can't, they get punnished. it's not their fault.

do u think it's right?

Can swimming pool be quicker or slower than others? Usually, I swim at pool "A" and turn my 100meters in about 1:40. Last week, I went to another pool and started turning my 100s in 1:30. My first tought was that the pool was a little short, but the three different lifeguards I asked all said that it was a regular 25meter pool. So, can a pool be quicker than others?
