The rocks in some places have green mold, white spots and and black stains. The waterfall is also only 6 months old

This is normal for natural rocks. Lime or salt deposit, called efflorescence. These deposits can normally be brushed away. You may need to acid wash the rocks. They do make a sealer for this problem, it will reduce the amount of effloresence use it after the rocks have been cleaned.

Scrub them with a hard-bristled brush. If the normal water doesn't seem to be working when you scrub you can use Tile and Vinyl cleaner on the rocks when you scrub. Also, make sure your chemical balances are right so that you prevent regrowth. You could also ask the installer/maker of your waterfall what they recommend.

Get a blasting water gun/hose pipe and attack the green mold.
