The best suits I have found to train in are the Nike polyester suits. They last forever. I think I've had some of mine for 4 or 5 years and they look brand new. As for racing suits it depends on what you are swimming. I love the Fastskin suits (I or II or Pro) that go down to your knees for freestyle. (50, 100, 200 and 500 esp) I feel it helps keep your lower body feeling higher on the water later in the race. You do not want to wear a leg suit in breastroke. I am not a breastroker, but I have heard terrible things about when people have tried it. (it doesn't make sense either-you need to be able to "hold" the water with your legs, but if you are wearing a suit that is known for slipping thru the water you won't hold any water) For backstroke the full coverage back leg suits are great too. I haven't heard of any specific suits for butterfly though. Hope this helps you out some! Or you could try a throwback and wear a S2000 or paper suit!! jk (haha, anyone remember those??)

I don't think Speedos hold up as well as TYR but they are my second choice. Polyester will hold up best but the Aquablade will be mos aerodynamic for competition. Also I avoid Nike suits because they last even less time than Speedo before stretching out.

Basically make sure you try it on before you buy to ensure a proper fit and comfort level. Different strokes for different folks!

Good luck!

I think, not so is important swimsuit, as a figure of the girl! If the girl without a beautiful figure, any swimsuit will not rescue!

I like the new Fastskins (FSII), but only in knees. I don't like normal because it's uncomfortable. Aquablades are ok, but tend to wear out quickly. My last Fastskin lasted me a year, but it was killed when I swam the mile. Good luck.

I use a TYR because Speedos tend to ride.

I dove this winter for my school and we had really nice orange and black speedo suits. They were awesome!
