Never heard of it called that but yes... it sounds like it is finger tip drill....

Freestyle - important to maintian high elbows.. - skip fingers across water as the arm comes overhead... stretch far forward and glide ... touching other outstretched hand on the way through... and then pull through the water with the opposite hand ... the under water stroke touches the thigh as far down as possible on exit from the water... then high elbow.... skip the finger tips near the arm pit ......... stretch out and glide .... touch opposite outstretched hand.and go ... etc

6 beat kick.

Otherwise ... ask your coach?

each drill has a different name, but by the name of it, it sounds like this:

in freestyle, when you recover (your hand above the water) you touch the water with your fingers a few times. Two is probably what the coach is aiming for. this is simmilar to fingertip drill or skimming.
