for Olympic size pools have to be 8.7 feet width or 2.5 meters.

it depends on the pool i have swam in many pools, the pool i swim in for the high school team i swim on is a little bigger than two average size teenagers and so is the University of Minnesota but i have swam in other pools that can bearly fit 1 person

most of the time they are 6-8 1/2 feet...

they all vary, most are 7 or 7 1/2 feet

i kknow like the regular ones (for like middle shcool, highschool team ones) is 50 yards.
