Are inflatable kayaks trustworthy enough to trust on open water. No white water stuff, just far enough from shore to be worrisome about having to swim home. Any specifics to look for before buying?

Looking to become more serious and invest in some climbing gear:

1. I'd like to try trad, but do I necessarily have to build a rack first? I don't have the $ for that right now. I have a harness, shoes, ATC, biner. I'm hesitant to do sport climbing because I'm not too keen about bolts, but is that the quickest and easiest way to get experience for trad?

2. Can someone also explain to me how to tie a 'magic X'? I knew how to a few months ago but have forgotten since.

3. Read some workout tips online and in magazines, but what do you do personally to become a better climber other than actually climbing? I know pullups are helpful, but what else? (No access to a finger board).

4. People like bouldering better because of no ropes. What is its appeal to you other than that?

When i run in very cold weather, i always end up with a cough when i return back indoors, and this seems to be a problem me and all my friends have when we run in very cold weather.
My question is, Is running in the cold weather beneficial over say an indoor treadmill?

I need to get a paintball gun for my sun, but I don't know what kind to get him. They all look neat, but I don't want to go over $250 and I want to get him one of those kit things. What kind should I get him.

I was hiking the Mt. Whitney trail at 13000+ feet where there is no option but to climb down a wicked cliff and hang out while you hang on!

I want a proper one, but at the same time, it's been years since I last skated, so I've forgotten most of the stuff. As a result, I'm not looking for something too flash, just something suitable for a few ollies/grinds etc.

I want to buy an airsoft P90, but all I want is the gun and the carrying strap. It's for a costume; I'm not planning on shooting anything. But everyone who sells the airsoft P90 is selling it with ammo and other stuff. How can I get just the gun?

(I'm really just trying to save money...if anyone sells the P90 for cheap with the ammo, I'll buy it--maybe sell the ammo on eBay--but I'd rather not have to deal with that.)
