Ahhh...somebody has been watching Everest.

I would assume that they have some blankets or covering so that they can relieve themselves and not suffer major cold damage. Of course if they take too long, it could be a problem.

Maybe they set up small tents with some kind of short term heating system.

Maybe a Texas catheter

Very good question.

Hummm - My boyfriend, who knows most everything...literally..says they have to use a catheter. I did not have the courage to ask about number two. I imagine he is right but hopefully we have some mountain climbers just dying to tell us. GBYou

I have been watching Everest yes and have read at least two documentary type books about it and I do not remember it even being discussed. Now he is telling me they go in a little tent. Heavens I am going to worry about it all night.

I'm not for sure, but it doesn't really make any sense for someone to put up a tent just to go to the bathroom...

I say catheter.. and for number 2.. probably strap one of those doggie poopie things to them. sure it's disgusting, but if you really gotta go, are you really gonna spend time popping up a tent?
