Stainless steel is the way to go.Mostly because they last & last &
for all intents,pretty much unbreakable.
I have 2 Stanley pt. bottles & 1 qt.The pt. bottles keeps coffee hot
but I'm not too pleased with the qt.size.It"ll only keep coffee w/
creamer hot for about 2 hrs.Black will stay hot about twice as long.I x-changed this bottle twice after purchase w/no success.I
believe that it has to do with the design of the stopper.
I've also got a SS qt. bottle made by UNO-VAC that I've had for
30 yrs. It'll still keep black coffee hot for a couple of days but it's
so beat up that it will not stand upright anymore.
The qt. Stanley has a stopper that's designed to permit pouring
w/out removing it from the bottle.Preheating the bottle does no
good in this case.Maybeso, the company has thrown that idea out.

Stanley bottles are the best. Stainless steel liner instead of glass and keeps coffee hot as long as 2-3 days. Tough as hell and comes with a lifetime warranty.

3:30 every morning My Stanley and I head out to feed cattle.
It's the best . at 10 below zero it keeps the coffee hot.
Remember to preheat the stanley with boiling water before you put in coffee. it will keep coffee hot for three or four days.
