I have one called The Rock and it's made by Thermos...Its stainless steel and unbreakable. I usually will fill it with boiling hot water to get it hot before I fill it with coffee and sometimes I won't empty it out for 2-3 days and whatever is still left in it is HOT! One of the best I've ever owned. I also have the largest one they make and it is also made out of stainless steel and will hold a whole pot of coffee. ( 12-13 cups). I drive dump truck and like to have my coffee and like it HOT! Either one of these would work for you. Just make sure you pre-heat them before filling.

Thermos is a brand name! There several manufacturers of insulated containers. Coleman and Igloo (along with Thermos) are the most widely known and they all make 1 & 2 quart containers.

Hi! My father always carried a stainless steel thermos as there is nothing to break. He worked in elevator construction and his thermos fell many times down floors of buildings while he was on multi-floor jobs.

I found one at an on-line store which is stainless steel for you to check out. It appears to be a good size for coffee and will indeed keep it hot. The item number is C40915/2. If you do not wish to purchase on-line, possibly outdoor stores or the sporting goods department of stores in your area carry something along this line.

I hope this helps.

Thermos is the best brand. There are different models so you would be better off not to skimp on the quality and pay the higher price for the best.

I agree with the Stanley answer, they are a bit pricey, BUT they have a lifetime guarantee. You should be able to buy one at a local hardware store.
