I THINK IF YOU DECIDE TO GO HIKING UP A MTN AND GET LOST OR GET HURT, WE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO RESCUE YOU MORONS. I MEAN YOU KNEW THE RISKS YET YOU TOOK IT AND LOST. WHY SHOULD TAX PAYERS HAVE TO FOOT THE BILL FOR YOUR OWN STUPIDITY? WHY SHOULD RESCUERS RISK THEIR LIVES BECAUSE YOU COULDNT FIND A HIGH SCHOOL TRACK GO EXERCISE AT? YOU TOOK THE RISK YOU DIE. WE'LL LET YOUR DUMB BODY FEED THE WILD LIFE.

My parents said they would get me a skateboard for christmas, but they want me to look for it online and then they'll pay since they have no idea about this sort of stuff... but I don't know that much either! About the skateboard I want to choose at least...

Someone said I should get nothing bigger then 7.5, but I am 12 and I am a size 5!!! Wouldn't that mean the board would be 2 inches bigger then my feet or what? Where can I get a good board that is attractive, is good quality and is a suitable size for me? I was browsing www.ccs.com and I LOVE the almost brand, again they only have 7.5 +

What Should I look out for when choosing one, and is there any important things i need to know about? By the way, the gift is for a 20-yr male.

I'm a single mom with 2 teenagers (boy, girl). I want to keep some footwear in the car for summer and winter to guard against breakdowns when driving through the Adirondacks. My kids generally choose VERY inadequate footwear, summer and winter. I have some wilderness training, the kids have practically none, but are heathy and take direction well in emergencies.

Which would be better to keep in the car: sneakers or waterproof hiking-type boots? Keep in mind that these would be inexpensive, and wouldn't be broken in (would include several pair of socks and many band aids etc per person). Initially I thought sneakers, but now I'm leaning toward inexpensive hiking style boots, which say they're waterproof. I've seen some in Target for $18.

Keep in mind that I'd LIKE to afford "the best of everything," but being wholly unable to afford that, would rather have SOMETHING other than the flip flips I know they'll be wearing.

Someone on CNN said that if the lost climbers on Mt. Hood had a stove in their snow cave they could melt the snow to drink as water. But wouldn't eating snow have the same effect because it will melt in their mouth or at least their stomach, right???

i have been looking for a used camper for years now. i did not want to spend alot of money on one since i will be leaving it on my leased hunting property(year round). i finally found one last week. a 1978 16 ft. air stream haard top. yes it needs some work, but i am an engineer by trade and am fairly handy with tools. i need to reseal the roof since i noticed a couple of leaks. i paln on using kool seal for that?? i also need to replace part of the entrance floor due to rotten wood. i also am planning on getting new foam for the beds. i paid 275 bucks and figure probably another 200 to restore her to livable status. is that pretty good? and any advice on restoration ect, ect??

I'm putting a winch on my 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport, and I figured I'd see if anyone on here was selling. Needs to have 8,000lb capacity. Can be a little worn, but it needs to work. Does not need to come with line or clip because I am putting my own on.
