Send it to a airgun tuner so he can
modify valve for more volume and flow,
open up transfer port for more flow to
breech.
I don't know if any of the tuners will touch a
Umarex gun, pistol or rifle. Umarex was sold
to another company and now getting parts here
in the U.S. is like pulling teeth. I know one of the best
tuners here in the U.S. refuses to touch a Umarex because
of this.
Next time, if you want a good gun to tune up, get a Crosman.
Co2 or a pumper. These guns can be modified to no end, and
shoot in the high 1000's fps (feet per second) in .177 and as high
as 900's fps in .22.
My modified Crosman 2250XT shoots in the high 800's with a muzzel energy of 12 ftlbs (foot pounds) that's power for a Co2 gun.
You can ask these guys if they know who will tune a Umarex:

Good luck.

The answer is increase the velocity in a non-constant way. For example, you change the velocity first slowly, then quickly, you are always changing it, but you can vary the RATE at which you change it. You know, since acceleration= change in velocity/ time
