Just an honest question: I know most of you are probably Christians. So do you think you are going to Hell for killing defenseless creatures? Obviously you're all going to say no, but at least give me some decent rationale. This isn't the Dark Ages, you don't need to kill animals to survive. You don't even need meat, it's actually healthier to live without it, and you can grow just as strong using other sources of protein. So whaddya think? Because I know that you know that these animals have a soul. My dog sure as hell has a soul, and he walks on four legs. Just because we have a more convoluted brain structure and can form more neural connections does not mean we are inherently more valuable to God. When you kill one of God's creatures, not for survival (as God intended) but for recreation and a tasty meal (i.e. satisfying your own gluttonous cravings), you have to pay some price, right?
