Yes, there are replica full auto Tommyguns.

Original Thompson Submachine guns were manufactured in the early 1920's and again 1940-1944 by Auto Ordnance Corp.(AOC). AOC subcontracted the production of the 1920's version to Colt.
Colt manufactured about 15000 Thompsons in 1921-1922. This supply of guns lasted AOC until 1939 when AOC sold the last ones to England and France at the out break of WW2.

When AOC's inventory was depleted, they subcontracted Savage Arms to manufacture more and eventually manufactured the Thompson themselves. Many 100's of thousand were made for the war effort. Production ended in 1944. AOC still exists under another name.

In the 1970's a new AOC was formed and they manufactured a full auto Thompson that many collectors consider to be a replica. These were manufactured in West Hurley, NY and are commonly referred to as West Hurleys. Production continued until 1986 when the law was changed and it no longer was legal to manufacture machine guns for civilian use.

This may be a Spitfire or a Volunteer Arms Commando. Both of those were similar in appearance to the Thomspon, and $3500 would be the going rate for them. They were in .45acp and used an M3 Grease Gun magazine.

This is a picture of some Spitfires.

The spitfire was originally made as an open bolt semi-auto, but ATF ruled that it was too easily converted to full-auto and deemed them all to be machine guns. Many of them were registered as legal machine guns after that.

Yeah, you can make them full auto. Beats me as to why though, burns up the ammo and wears out the barrel a whole lot faster.

I would stray, simply because I have never seen nor heard of a rep. tommy at full auto. Sounds kinda fishy, I called a friend he deals with tommy's all the time. He informed me there is no such gun. This doesnt mean theres not, just someone who deals with them everyday says theres not. I trust his word, however its not written in stone. Good luck, I would like to know what you find out.
