All right, 'fess up.

All you players, what are your superstitions? Don't change your shorts if you're on a scoring streak? Left elbow pad *then* right elbow pad? Don't shave during playoffs?

I'm finding out that even rec players have their quirky little superstitious habits.

Personally, I don't get on the ice without chewing gum. It started out that I chewed gum to keep from grinding my teeth during games, but now I can't/won't play without it. I once sent someone to the rink vending machine to buy gum for me.

So there's my little quirk.

Live in Canada, so no clearing house here and hockey card store would say there not interested. Then how does she clear them out, sell them all at once !!!

i remember the 1 sabres rangers game i was watching he was liek crying the hole game cause the sabes werent treating him with respect we were checkin him and treating him like a nobody and he was gettin all whiney does he doe this for all games?

in your opinion, what do you think the most exciting match-ups are in the NHL. i think it's between the leafs (my fav team) and montreal because it's usually pretty close matches.

I'm curious what the folks in this Q/A area collect in regards to hockey.

Me personally it is all about hockey pucks. I currently have about 2000 pucks from the NHL, IHL, AHL, and Canadian advertisement pucks from the 70s/80s.

I also have 35 jerseys... Sabres (4), Canadiens(2), Leafs(2), IHL teams (8), AHL teams(3), and 1 Calgary Hitmen. About 15 more from the local leagues I've played in over the past 20+ years.

Anyone else spend too much money on collectables?
