philadelphia flyers 1979-1980 with a record of 25 wins 10 ties, they beat every team in the league except for a tie with Washington, they came back from a 2 goal deficit 5 times and a three goal deficit twice. after their 7-1 loss to Minnesota they started a 13 game undefeted streak.
just on wins alone it is the Penguins with 17 wins. currently the buffalo sabres are threating to set a new mark. ( they have 12 now) in all pro sports it is the LA lakers with 33 wins. Before the flyers set a new record it was 29 games in a row without a loss.
