The 2006-2007 Buffalo Sabres will be after all said and done "The Best Team in NHL History" and yes they will win the Stanley Cup this year.

The Sabres are a mild surprise. The whooping they gave my Flyers should not be carried away with. It's early in the season and the Flyers weren't giving them a game. On the other hand, the Sabres are a talented team with a great team system. They can probably go all the way. If I were a fan, I'd be concerned about the possibility of cooling off and limping into the playoffs. No matter which sport it is, I am always cautious about teams that start off hot. But good luck to the Sabres. Since the Flyers aren't showing me anything, I'll just root for the Devils this year.

There are approximately 25 different communities i will make certain winning the cup till now the Sabres. The Jackets are based too heavily on Leclair's goaltending. If he fails, the gang fails. it extremely is extremely not the making of a Stanley Cup team.

Right now they are the best team in the NHL. They've won 6 of their 8 games against playoff teams and won three by route. I think they will win the eastern conference, but whether or not they win the cup we can only hope. Besides, being a fan of western NY sports teams ya never know what can happen in the finals(NO GOAL)

A great start for sure, but it's all about how you're playing come playoff time. Look at all the success of the lower seeded teams getting to play for the Cup the last few years.

They would have won the cup last year if they didn't have all those injuries.
And,,,if they stay relatively healthy, there is NO one that can stop them.

Sure Scoop, they stink they have 8 STINKING wins thank you very much!! I rate them in the top 5 teams. I'm still undecided if they will win the Cup. A lot depends on how they rebound after their first loss.

Right now they are number one. They are undefeated, they take advantage of the other teams turnovers, goo on the powerplay. They have a good goalie. They are looking good for the cup. But it is only the beginning of the season.

it only counts in the playoffs you make the playoffs then will start talking. every team steps up in the playoffs so you never know who will win.
