I have been golfing now for about 2 years and have a pretty slow swing; about 75-85; and really lack distance. I hit hybrids pretty farther and more crisp than regular irons for some reason. I average around 85-100 depending on the course. I really need some new irons that cant cost more than $650. Maybe a LITTLE more but not much... VOICE YOUR OPINIONS HERE WITH LINKS AND PRICES! THANKS!

Please don't say "it's all your opinion...." I have heard that plenty of times. Thanks.

My home backs up to the 12th hole of a very nice private golf course. Unfortunatly most of the golfers are not very adept at the game. So, being a golfer myself, I maintain that any balls that I find in my yard and living room should be considered, if not mine by original purchase, at least a "wind fall" gain.
I have had several altercations with golfers that have insisted that even though their ball may be atop my coffee table, I have no right to move it. Let alone take it and add it to my collection.

Everyone knows that cold golf balls lose distance but would warm golf balls gain distance? Would heating them in a microwave or boiling water help during cold weather?

Is this just pertaining to the golf courses amenities? Sometimes newer courses will skip building a fancy clubhouse until they build regulars. Are fairways and greens that much different at “younger” courses, less than 5 years old?

It would be nice to read up on how the women are doing. And don't give me the "no one cares about girls sports" deal. In fact the U.S. women have been more dominant than the men lately

If you compare a 3 iron with 20 degree loft and a 3 hybrid club with 20 degree loft, will you get more distance out of the hybrid? Or is it mainly more useful because it's an easier club to hit and you will make better copntact with the hybrid?

It may sound stupid, but I swear there are 2 courses I play where the holes are smaller than the rest of the courses I play. Perhaps they do it to keep scores higher or something? I don't know.

I've been playing golf for about a year, I just got a cheap set of Ram clubs, I'm not fitted, I upgraded my putter to the two ball Odessy, and got a MIzuno lob wedge, broke all my woods the first month I started playing, got a $20 driver from wallmart, and obviously I still suck hard, but I'm wondering how much your clubs affect you play. I can see how when you're really good your equipment is very important, but when you suck anyway, how much is a $20 driver going to affect you? Also I'm 6'1" and I'm wonder how long my clubs should be.

I'm just wondering how much buying better stuff if really going to help me. I'm having problems with good clean contact, either blading or getting too much grass before the ball, I shank right a lot, and I hook right a lot.

I have a set of Adams tight lies classic golf clubs. I need to get these fitted to my body because they are way too long. Will most golf stores attempt to fit these clubs to me-such as pitch and height- because I heard that many place wont attempt to fit cheaper clubs for fear of breaking them. Also these clubs have a graphite shaft, Is that a problem when it comes to fitting.
