If I could break 100 I'd celebrate for a week. But, that's just me.
You are only 23 over par. Even some life-time pros in tournaments can't beat that on the first 2 rounds.
For a high school student I'd say it's OK.

A good golf score really depends on your experience. There is a handicap system which takes your average score on 18 holes and sees how close you are from the normal par of 72. For an experienced player, a good handicap is 1-10 (73-82). A 95 in high school is average, it's better than bad, but not yet 'good'. For sports I go by a three level system: bad, average, and good. It is pretty easy to pick up a sport and be average, but to be good you have to work hard and get pretty experienced.

It's okay. It depends on how long you have played.
My freshman year of high school I averaged 95 which wasn't bad. This year I averaged 74. This being on 18 holes of course. Just keep practicing and you'll get better.
For the person that mentioned a handicap at par would be 18. Yeah she's a bit off. That would be a 0 handicap then. I'm a 2 btw.

Golf is played with "par" being the theoretical "good" score for each hole. Thus shooting 70 or 72 for 18 would be very good. Professionals are capable of shooting under par and making it look easy. But for mere mortals, shooting "bogey" golf, or one over par is pretty good. So if you played on a par 72 course, a 90 would be quite respectable. This is why players earn handicaps so players of differing abilities can play evenly against each other. Of course, all players try to be better than their average - so keep practicing and beat 95 and head toward par golf!

It could. If you are a good putter, then you are a good putter. The difference is, you are using a completely different ball and putter. In mini golf, both the ball and the putter weigh less than real golf equipment does. In addition to that, putting only makes up approximately one third of your strokes in a round of golf. If you can't hit the ball straight with your driver or your irons, then you still aren't going to have a really low score no matter how good you putt.

The easiest way to learn golf like a pro is by following "The Simple Golf Swing" program. It's primarily a 31 page eBook that teaches golfers how to make solid contact with the ball, how to avoid hitting fat, how to avoid slicing, how get more power, accuracy, and consistency in your swing. Consistency being the number 1 golf skill.
You not only get the eBook though, you also receive a ton of extra material including video, lessons on putting, driving, chipping, sand play etc. Here is their official site: http://www.golfswingguru.net

Par or less is a good score. 95 is not bad depending on how long you've been playing and your handicap.
A handicap of 18 would put you close to par.
