I have a set of Adams tight lies classic golf clubs. I need to get these fitted to my body because they are way too long. Will most golf stores attempt to fit these clubs to me-such as pitch and height- because I heard that many place wont attempt to fit cheaper clubs for fear of breaking them. Also these clubs have a graphite shaft, Is that a problem when it comes to fitting.

yes the shops are afraid of breaking them so will not adjust them. You would more-than-likely have to buy a new set.

If you have a set of Adams Tight Lies Classics, hold them for the may be worth big bucks in the future especially if they were the original model. Your best bet is to buy a set of clubs for your height, for your swing speed, required shaft angle and stance. Find out which golf pro in your area is the best club fitter . See what he advises. You should be very satisfied with the results. You won't have to pay an arm and a leg for a decent set.

no they should be able to cut them down and regrip but they wont bend them aand change the lie angles because they will break or easily could break. They may tell you if they break they are not lieable. and you can chosse if you want to risk it.
