I have a serious passion for golf and usually end up watching every single shot on Sundays whenever a tourney is on. I've always wanted to become competitive in golf and eventually go to Q-school or try out on the Nationwide tour in the future. I have a good situation right now where I have a lot of time that I can spend on golf right now and I would like to take advantage of it. I am thinking of getting a part time job at a golf course so that I can play golf for free and hit balls.

I want to set up a five year plan where I can get to scratch in two to three years. In the 3rd and fourth year maybe start using a swing coach to get me over the last little hump and then in the fifth year start trying out in competitive tourneys.

I feel like i have some natural ability and I like to learn about the game and my game. I have shot in the 80s before but I haven't had an 80s round in the last few years. Does anyone think that this is completely idiotic or is it a possibility?

having the man removed from the premises for asking him at the 9th hole if he still thought he could beat Mr. Woods today? Do you think he was correct in having him removed?

Player A's ball is already on the green, Player B's ball and player C's ball are off the green.

Player B is away and he lands on the green, Player C then hits and player C's ball hits Player B's Ball and comes to a stop. Player B's ball rolls 15 feet from the place it was at rest.

Player A demands that player B take a two shot penalty because he did not spot his ball before player C hit.

What is the propper ruling? I didn't think that anyone marks their ball untill all players are on the green?

I also thought that there is no penalty when one ball strikes another on the green and that you just return it to the place closest to the last known position?

I had this long par-3 200 yards, narrow green and no fairway. My driver swing speed is 95 MPH. I hit driver 230 yards (carry and rolls), 3 wood 215 yards and 5 wood 195 yards. So it will be either too short or too much. Any tip?

In the latest issue (September) of Golf Digest, Johnny Miller makes note in his monthly section about the weak play of young American players. In the article, he makes mention to the fact that Charles Howell III is the only U.S. player under 30 to have won more than once in his career. However, this statement is false. Jonathan Byrd, also currently under 30, has won three times on tour. I find this somewhat surprising that Miller would make such a mistake and would like to notify Golf Digest. My purpose in doing so would be simply to notify them of the mistake and hopefully fix it, not just to criticize Miller. I have seen many noted corrections in past issues, but am clueless in how I would go about notifying Golf Digest? What G.D. department should I email/call? Any suggestions? Thanks.

I have a 10 year old set of Dunlap clubs in good condition. I want to get rid of the irons 3 - PW, woods 5, 3, 1, sand wedge, and bag. The bag is 2 years old and in great condition. I will include a bag of tees and a sleeve of balls. These will be going to a garage sale this weekend-- what is a fair price?

I am trying to purchase a Univ of Pittsburgh Golf Cart Bag. I have searched all over the place and can't seem to find the style I am looking for. I only found it on an eBay auction that has already ended. This link is the exact bag I am looking for...http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290083899183&sspagename=ADME:B:AAQ:US:1
I am not interested in the all dark blue Univ of Pittsburgh bags that are on a bunch of sites. Also i am not interested in the Univ of Pittsburgh bags that have stands to hold the bag up, I want a cart bag with no stand....
