if you're already a decent putter, step up and get a Scotty Cameron - they are perfectly balanced and the feel of the ball coming off the putter is butter. I don't know if you prefer a blade putter or a mallet, etc - they are expensive but the putter will be in your bag for at least 5 years so step up

a oddssey 2 or 3-ball putter is what mostly all the pros use and they are #1 in all putters. They have excellent feel and lets you sink alot more of those putts. You can purchase them at all golfing stores for around $100-$150. I have one personally and it has lowered my handicap 6 .strokes

its all a matter of preference, Ive tried maybe two dozen putters in the 5 years Ive been golfing, and yes, a half dozen scotty's too, as well as 5 never compromise, 6 odysseys, 3 rossas, and two pings... blades ,mallets ,half mallets, pro platinums, heel shafted , center shafted, even two belly putters, asgi grooves, yes grooves, soft insert never compromise, grey matter, teriliyum inserts...pretty much everything that releases that looks interesting I buy just to try it out, for the green at home I still have an old auschnet (titelist) mallet (collectable by now) a never compromise, and cameron red x2, and in my playing bag is a odyssey two ball center shafted and weighted with a cameron studio design red grip, and a odyssey marksman blade with the same cameron grip...putting is a funny thing...all feel...by far I prefer the odyssey white hot face on my two ball and my new marksman to anything else I have owned or played...but I realize those may not fit the next player as well as it does myself...

The best putter does not exist
. It is all down to preference and what the player is happy with.

Very difficult to say. I use a 30-year-old PING putter. It's as good as any there is, if you like it.

its really all preference. any putter can be the best for you. For a low handicap though, Yes! and Scotty Cameron would both be good choices.
