I had this long par-3 200 yards, narrow green and no fairway. My driver swing speed is 95 MPH. I hit driver 230 yards (carry and rolls), 3 wood 215 yards and 5 wood 195 yards. So it will be either too short or too much. Any tip?

Choke down an inch and a half or so on your 3 wood. Use your normal swing. Most people lose control or take way too much off if they try to underswing a club. Make sure you tee the ball very low (about level with the grass) to encourage a higher ball flight and get a little bit of backspin.

Try either hitting your 3 wood off the ground or choking down about an inch and swinging smooth and easy.

I personally hit a knock down 4 or full 5 iron depending on the wind and pin location.

You can always swing easier with your 3-wood for more control and get near or on the green. Your best bet with a 3-wood is to hit it short and have it run up to the green.

A #3 or #4 hybrid would be a better choice.

Is the fringe in front of the green short? You could use the 5-wood and run it on the green. Of course this doesn't work if there are sand traps in front.

I wish you said where any bunkers would be on the hole... But since you didn't and I'm going strictly off of what you said I would either try and stand way back in the tee box with the 3 wood and just hope it stays on the green or just lay it up with the 5, its pretty much a coin toss.

given the parameters that you have listed.....I would choke down on the 3 wd and hit a high shot to further reduce carry. That should put the ball right around 200 yds.

You can always take a few yards back in the tee box. Or take a half-3/4 swing

If you try to use the 5 wood and make it, you'll probably over swing and slice it off, so try taking a little off of your 3 wood and land it soft.
