In the latest issue (September) of Golf Digest, Johnny Miller makes note in his monthly section about the weak play of young American players. In the article, he makes mention to the fact that Charles Howell III is the only U.S. player under 30 to have won more than once in his career. However, this statement is false. Jonathan Byrd, also currently under 30, has won three times on tour. I find this somewhat surprising that Miller would make such a mistake and would like to notify Golf Digest. My purpose in doing so would be simply to notify them of the mistake and hopefully fix it, not just to criticize Miller. I have seen many noted corrections in past issues, but am clueless in how I would go about notifying Golf Digest? What G.D. department should I email/call? Any suggestions? Thanks.

You find it surprising about Miller making a mistake? He makes mistakes all the time but he covers them up quite well.

If he makes note of this and comes out and says "Oh crap, forgot about him" His excuse will be " I was talking about the well known players, or something like that. It's Johnny. He's very straight forward, good announcer but sometimes he just forgets.

Heck, I'm in the Industry and I had no clue of Byrd's success. He can win 4 more times and if Howell won one more time, he would be more of a story.

My favorite about Johnny was when he said "Watch this guys, Daly's over clubbed! He will hit this over the green forsure!"

Daly stuck it 2 feet. Miller said "Watch this video...see! right there? He hit it a little fat! If he were to hit that center, it would have flew the green in the water!

Daly flushed it lol. Was sooooo funny.

Anyway, to make a correction to GD just e-mail them from their site. If it's something they feel needs to be corrected, they will have a 1/4 page somewhere in the magazine correcting it.

The messed up with my company one time and the following month it was corrected.
