having the man removed from the premises for asking him at the 9th hole if he still thought he could beat Mr. Woods today? Do you think he was correct in having him removed?

I think he's a wimp. We try to convince people that golfers are athletes, but then little Rory gets distracted by one guy asking one question and throws a temper tantrum. Totally out of line. Has he every been to a Basketball or Football game?

These guys need to man up a little... have they ever played on a municipal course that runs along the highway? "Oh, what was that, did I just hear camera? I'm distracted now and can't play!!!"

"Hey Rory, you're a wuss, and Tiger just spanked you like your mama should have!" would be a more appropriate.

Don't get me wrong... I understand golf etiquette. I don't think we can have hecklers out there. But this was taking it too far. "He hurt my feelings". Then Rory, shut up about beating Tiger, you don't even play the same game.

Sabbatini cannot take the heat. He got his *** whipped yesterday, plain and simple. I lost total respect for him after what he did to Ben Crane several years ago, finishing out a hole while Crane was still in the fairway (both guys were in the same group).

They guy is all bark and no bite. Instead of endorsing Nike, Sabbatini would be better off representing Kleenex and Pampers. What a big baby.......

First off, I think he was wrong to have the man removed if all he said was the comment about Tiger being beatable now. As long as the spectator was not loud and boisterous and causing mayhem then he [Rory] should have just ignored him. But he didn't, and that is what he may regret because now he may have opened the flood gates to Heckle Nation. A few years back Colin Montgomery made some comments and the fans heckled him at every stop for years. Well, now we have a new whipping post and if he thought it was bad yesterday I think he is in for a rude awakening. He may regret that decision for a long time.

A weenie move for sure. Rory comes off as a little on the arrogant side too. I realize it's an individual sport and those guys need to pump up their confidence as much as they can, but talking smack and not backing it up is another thing. Rory got whooped and it stung bad so he flamed up at a spectator. Wussy is all can say. Hopefully he learned something that day. Only fueled Tiger to play even better.

sabbatini said after finishing second to tiger earlier this year that tiger is beatable now more than ever. tiger's response was i have three wins this years thats as many wins as you have in your whole career. i think sabbatini was trying to psyche himself up and when tiger was hitting fairways and rolling in puts on the last day like other opponents he wilted from the pressure. so he took out his meltdown on a spectator. he is classless. at least fuzzy zoeller apologized for the fried chicken joke.

Professional sport figures are always targets of opposing fans. Golf is no different than any other sport. Imagin if every fan at a football or baseball game was removed if a player didn't like what he said.

it was a petty move, there will always be someone in the gallery who is rooting for another player and says something one of the players can hear when walking to the next hole...they rarely if ever have someone booted for it, Im sure he took a razzing for it after he melted down, which in turn, gives tiger more fuel the next time they match up, and gives him another reason to have the yips next time also...classless

I think he showed his true lack of class and grace. Perhaps the remark that was made hit too close on target for his liking.....but he still shouldn't have taken his anger out on the guy.

There are a few words I could call him but they wont let me. He opened his mouth and spoke his opinion (which only he believes) then when he is called out on it he cries like a baby. He is a whiny little boy who stuck his foot in his mouth and cries when he is called on it.
