Don't let those tell you that it is Tiger Woods just yet. One day of course he will be a legend, but you can't forget the legends. Bobby Jones, Arnold Palmer, Byron nelson and Jack Nickalaus. Now these guys brought power and excitement to the game. Golf was right up there with croquette and hurling before these guys. How many pro bowlers have you heard of? Yet these guys are common names to most. Favorite? depends on what erra you were born in, but with research, you'll find how awesome these guys really were. If you love golf, the history lesson is quite inspiring.

for all time best golfer and best on and off personality hands down lee trevino.for the best golfer to bring the game to television and draw enormous crowds arnold palmer,with his go for broke style and swashbuckling play all the pros today respect him and would never think of turning down an invite to his tournament every year.
