Looking for a club to help a beginner with his slice. I dont know the difference between stiff or flex club either, Can someone help?

i have the new tiger 08 game.. what do you all think of it?? i really like it.. but for some reason i cant hit my irons worth ****.. i always hook the ball.. my driver/3wood i hit good but my irons i hook.. farther i aim right the more i hook it or not hook it enough.. its driving me crazy im used to shooting 53 or 54 n tiger woods now im lucky to break 68

Now matter how old I get, I still find it funny as hell. I even yell FORE! driving by a minature golf course, simply because I find it amusing.

My girls golf team needs some fun ideas for a poster. It has to be fun with a golf sort of theme. An example that we used before was "Diamonds in the Rough." If it helps, we're going for our 5th state championship in a row. Other sports teams in our school use other things to make a theme like tv shows, etc. We need to get it school approved quick! Any fun ideas?

I am trying to learn to play golf, my husband enjoys it but i am horrible! Anyone have any tips to help me out? I have a full set of clubs, but i tend to stand up to straight when hitting the ball, could they be to short? I am 5'5 if that helps. When i can make contact i can hit fairly well but its the hitting it part i have trouble with, espically on the fairways. Any tips would be helpful, because i really want to learn to play. Thank you in advance!

I know they all mean something about the ball not going perfectly straight but how are all the terms different.

Also my shots tend to start out straight but about halfway through the flight of the ball, it starts to curve way to the right. Which term describes this type of shot.

I am a beginning golfer and I notice that when allot of people talk about their game, they exxagerate the statistics or don't accurately report the right score. A ton of people who I talk to say that they drive the ball 310+ yards but when I watch them actually play, it only goes about 275 to just under 300. Also, they say they usually score in the high 70s or low 80s, however when we play their score is closer to high 90s or 100s. Why lie about a gentlemen's game?

When I tee off to hit a shot with my irons, I always either completely miss the ball, slice badly, or hit the top of the ball causing it to bounce only about 30 Yards. What can I do?

If the USGA won't allow Casey Martin to use a cart, why don't they step in and prevent public courses from mandating the use of carts?

I'm not saying everyone has to walk, but if you want to walk and play, you should at least have the option.
