Now matter how old I get, I still find it funny as hell. I even yell FORE! driving by a minature golf course, simply because I find it amusing.

Ted P, that is EXACTLY why a person does, so YOU CAN SCREW UP THEIR GOLF SCORE, otherwise there is no point in doing it. BTW, I will try to wear a bullet proof vest, when driving by your golf course.

I usually yell FORE while driving past a golf course only when someone is in the middle of their back swing. Just yelling FORE out on to a golf course doesn't do much good. Like most of life, it's all in the timing.

I guess the problem is you are trying to make the guy miss or screw up his shot. If it was the driving range it wouldn't make much difference. When you are playing a round under the rules of golf that is call "rub of the green" and you have to play the shot no matter what happens. If someone is paying $40 and up to play and their score matters to them the the guy driving by is bad news. I've always wanted to pull out a gun and go bang bang... :-)

No, but I've hit a golf ball towards idiots who did. Putting a dent in a guy like that's car is a LOT more funny.

That used to bug me, but then I figured what the heck. It is kind of funny if your just out there hacking around. It's like yelling moo when you pass a country farm with a bunch of cows outside. You're not hurting anyone.

I never yell fore but i was playing last month and a whole group of biker drove by and everyone yell fore I thought it was funny

I had to once, but not when I was driving, when I was trying to put it on the green from about 50 yards out and it went about 20 yards long and hit the next groups cart. However, I told them I was sorry and gave them back five dollars that accidentally fell out of their pockets, so they weren't angry
