I have about 80 golf balls. I heard that the driving range might buy them but I don't know.

Giving them back would be a nice gesture. Selling them back for $40-$80 would be worth while for you.

If you play golf, get a shag bag and fill it up with those 80 balls and you have all you need to practice for a long time. Also a great gift idea for someone you know that plays golf.

Bring a huge box with all of the golf balls back to your neighbor and very nicely explain that you would appreciate if he were to try and keep the golf balls in his yard. He will be so appreciative that you brought the balls back, that he will make a conscious effort to not hit balls into your yard in the future.
If he continues hitting ball into your yard... hit them back at him.
