I used to play to a good standard and I've always folloewd footie but over the last couple of years it has started to bore me. I cant even be bothered to watch match of the day most of the time! my mates look at me like I'm mad but if something bores me then it bores me what can I do?p.s. this is in the wrong category it is not soccer it is football!

We know they're the best players ever, but if you really think about it and see their videos, back then football wasn't as competitive as it is now. In those videos, they don't run that fast, deffense is slow and it almost looks comic many of those goals. (Maradonna's goal vs England is amazing, but no way it would ever happen something like that nowadays)

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they're bad at all, I think they're awesome. but my question is:

If Maradonna and Pele would be young and have the same skills they had like 20 or 30 years ago, would they still be the best in the world? Now that there's a Ronaldinho, Cristiano Ronaldo, Drogba, Lehman, Messi, Ballack, Kaká, etc, could they beat them all and still be the best?

Seriously, the man isn't that good, sure h has his "magic knee" but if you think about it, he's all about marketing. He's a pretty face who can kick free kicks well, no more than that, he doesn't run, he doesn't steal balls, he doesn't deffend, sometimes he attacks, etc... If you compare him to players from his own country like Joe Cole, Rooney, Owen, Lampard, Gerrard.. he's not as good as them at all.

What do you think could be done about it? Should the troublemakers be taken off the team? It's abusing the black players. Sad when we live in a world that should be much more civilized.

It's shocking to see this and it's also horrible to witness personally.

I hear some British guys coming over to play Soccer in the USA for $250 mil. But since the USA doesnt watch soccer they just wasted their money. Soccer is about as popular as the Womans National Basketball Assosiation. So who is this guy and why is he getting paid alot of money to kick a ball around in a country that wont even watch him?
