No, he cant.

Under FIFA regulations, since he's represented his home nation of England already he 'd have to become a US citizen first, which would take a few years..and then wait five more years before being eligible to play for the US. By then, he'll be in his late thirties and way too old.

Dude hecks no! He won't play in the first place cuz he's not a U.S. citizen like me! In the second place cuz he already played for England so it's a rule--you can't play for two countries! And in the third place, Beckham said he'd be too old by the next world cup. I don't really agree but that's his point of view.

It's very doubtful that he will play for England again after he has been treated as of late.

By the time the next world cup arrives in 2010 he will be able to play for the US team if he wishes to do so.

Considering the amount of money he was given I'm sure that question has already been answered and taken into account.

That depends whether England lets him play for them. If not, then he may choose to play with another team. Most people do not realize this but players can tend to play for teams other than that of their origin. In Hockey, Brett Hull played for USA because when he was younger, the Canadian team didn't want him. Once he established himself as a good player, he still stuck with USA.

Becks already has a senior international cap with England. He has already represented England, so he cannot represent the US now even if he wanted to and I doubt that he would want to. He could never go back to England again. ha ha ha
