Nope! He will me marketed to the fullest and the only reason he is going to L.A. is that the Team Owner is worth 7 Billion Dollars and also owns the Staple Center and two other teams from the MLS. He is banking on Beckhm which is foolish. Soccer is not a American Sport and most people here could care less! Total waste of 250 million dollars and this deal will go down as one of the all time greatest blunders in professional sports!

Hmmmmm, not really MLS is still gonna be the same, the LA Galaxy might be more popular around the world because of course they got Beckham, soccer is still gonna be the same in America.

Initially yes. But in the long run, we still have to find out. It will all depend on Beckham's performance and if his presence will truly help the LA Galaxy win the MLS.

As a L.A. resident I hate soccer and would never attend a soccer game, not even if Pamela Anderson and Jennifer Love Hewitt would be running around kicking the little ball naked.

I think there's definetly that possibility. Think about it...someone isn't paying him over $210 million without doing some serious research regarding his marketability.
