Yay Italy won!!! im sad Portugal didnt get 2 da finals so badly wanted dem 2 win!! Wat was Zidane thinkin he cant just head but sum1 like dat!!! well my question is r u happy dey won, who do u think was playin beta and do u think Zidane deserved a red card?
because i think you'd hav 2 be crazy not 2 think he deserved 1!!!!!

Not a star player..not a good solid team, least goals scored...over all I thought it was very boring to watch. I believe this and Italy 90 are right there as the 2 worse World Cup ever.

I wonder if he will turn into villain from hero in the French history. And drama is that there is no way for him to correct anything-his carreere is over. From hero to zero in one second.
I would if people like Le Pen who already criticised this team for not having enough white non-Muslim in a squat and not representing a majority of French will also use this episode in hi propaganda as an example of hw violent all people with Arabic heritage are.

After the World Cup ended, there was a video. U2 was performing some song, and there were a lot of clips from the 2006 FIFA World Cup. Do any of you know what it was called? I want to know the title of the song so I can try to find the video of that performance on www.youtube.com.

As an Italian Amercian I'm happy for my nation of heritage. Though they barely won, they did indeed win. I was surprised at how much time the ball was spent on the Italian side. Even after the France's captian got booted for head butting an Italian player in the chest, this did not change things much. I was also surprised at how easy it seemed to score a penality kick. Those goalies have to be physic to block a kick these days. In fact the only block wasn't done by a goalie, but the goal itself. The last player to score, clentching it for the Italians had a cool look of confidence. In any case Italy won & I know they are absolutely going nuts over there. Italians are an emotional people in a good way. I wish I could be there to see it. I'm curious for those happy about this win how will you celebrate today. Hopefully I can get a few Italians to answer this for me so I can feel like I am in Italy again.

Zidane knew that France were goingt to lose and this was his last game, so he decided to exit in a way that everyone would remember and so that everyone would talk about what he did instead of the victory of italy... Zidane went out with a real bang! So he will be remembered forever for what he did to materazzi and perhaps he hopes that the blame will fall on this so the rest of his team mates don;t get so much of a hard time....
