people criticised lots about brazil's performance in this WC. i think it's unfair because brazil has always been the best, thats why many people put too much expectation on them and can't tolerate their poorer performance. come on! they are human too. they already tried their best and they did performed well. do they deserve all those criticism just because they lost to france? i think people who criticise also do think brazil is in fact the better team of all. else, nothing to be said.

My own answer is a very big NO. The ref kept ignoring French fouls and being over strict with the Portuguese side. Ronaldo was pushed down near the french goal, and a French player defended with his hand at the same place - the ref pretended he didn't see, or was he influenced by the dirty press's campaign? High competition soccer is A FARSE, where the most affluent countries keep advancing. The underdogs don't stand a chance.
That being said, I rest my case and say no more about this match. I'm surely Italy will win, Fance doesn't play that much. And I will be at the airport to cheer the Portuguese team when they arrive.
Força Portugal, os cães ladram a e a caravana passa (Dogs bark and te caravan still pulls ahead - meaning, we don't give a shi!t about sore losers' complaints that we are divers, cheaters, etc. That's simply not true and you know it.
GO PORTUGAL - GO SCOLARI - GO NATIONAL TEAM.
PORTUGAL 4EVER.
I'M SO PROUD TO BE PORTUGUESE. WE ROCK!! End of story.

Pele was right to describe football (soccer) as the "Beautiful Game". Reputable coaches like Brazil's Pereira, Portugal's Scolari, England's Eriksson all rubbish it saying "winning is everything". From what I've seen in Germany so far, it's a far cry from "the beautiful game". Perhaps the majority of Americans are right all along - "The Boring Game" you feel?

Im italian. Face it people Italy was the beat team so far in World Cup. We only received one goal which was really an own goal. We have the best defence no one can score against us well except us lol.
