he is young,talented and to whoever said he 'ting tongs' on the ball.... i think ur too blind to see that he is just too talented. and for those who keep insulting him... ur either too jealous or ur a brit who is awfully miserable for the lost they had. Cristiano Ronaldo is a player with full energy. he runs in the field for 120 minutes and plays great. the match against france went well considering the fact that france has old and experienced players. for a team like portugal to reach that far is a lot. bcz they are a young team and i give them a lot of credit.
( just because he defended his own team player against england.. doesnt mean hes a bad player. HES DEFENDING HIS OWN COUNTRY ! so all of u calling him an a**hole... think twice

he is a very good player and he has a bright future ahead of him, he does have like any other footballer some qualities that make people hate him, for example he is a diver and he can be selfish with the ball, but other than that he is fun to watch, he should have been nominated to be footballer of the year i recken instead of ronaldinho who only shows his skills in TV commercials, c. ronaldo shows his on the pitch. He is my favorite player, i think he is better than zidane. I also agree that he needs to be grounded, otherwise he's gonna end up like maradona and george best instead of pele.

i think he is going to be a sensation on next world cup, but on this one he just got the chace to experience tougher defense and being in the big state. He will be ready for 2010 and probably a big club like real madrid, inter may want him after his nice performance.

He is a good player..Very good one... A team by itself but he should not dive anymore and focus more on penetrating the defense rather than diving..He missed 2 clear goals only because he wanted to get penalties.. :(
