on the Spanish channels because when a player makes a goal, the adreneline shoots up and the sportscasters yell GOALLLL repeatedly with enthusiasm. This is the ferver through-out the sportscast, unlike the American televised version. So again, my question is why so repressed????

I know people have said Rooney was sent off because he said something to the ref.
But before anyone went out at the start of the match, Ronaldo went up to Rooney, said something to him and did headbut him in the back of his neck When Rooney got sent off, Ronaldo winked at him, is the headbut and wink related at all?
I personally think Ronaldo said something to him to get him angry before the match to get him sent off...

So much to be said about The Match of the Tournament. I am Portuguese but thanks England for showing us that Portugal is eitgher a load of cr_p or they really were weaken by the Holland team. I support Portugal but I had tears in my eyes of genuine sadness for a people I love. My 7-year old son who only loves one team and that's England, ran to the bedroom crying his eyes out. I went after him. HEROS the whole of the Eng team EXCEPT cr_p Rooney and cr_p Sven. Your future is Lennon ! Not Rooney. He never convinced me ! LENNON DOES !! Never in my wildest dreams would I ever imagine that I would have tears in my eyes and also had hugged my son to console him. I am Portuguese but, you know, sod football. It is being taken too far.it is only sport. You played cr_ap and you always won... now you play WELL and Rooney let's you down. Excuse me but I have to attend to my son. Going out with him.
