I really don't have a clue why portugal won. They dived, they cheated, and ronaldo trying to get (and suceeding) his TEAMMATE sent off? We played much, much better than them in the 2nd half, and Ronaldo is a dirt, cheating scumbag. I can't wait to see him get booed out of the stadium when man u start playing again. His deserves every minute of it. The ref sucked- what rooney did was so not worth a red card, and then 5 mins after the portuguese did something worse and all that was given was a free kick! We didn't dive, we didn't cheat, and we gave it our all.
England are by far the better team, in talent and definately in fair play and sportsmanship.
Need i remind you that England didn't miss a single penalty, they were just saved, whereas portugal completely missed the goal twice?

Even though I was cheering for England I must admit Portugal did win because they played a good game and knew how to keep possession of the ball whilst England were a bit weak on this game even though I expected them to surprise all their fans.....

I agree with you evilgal94! Begin the booing please! I cant wait for that piece of dirt to be brought down under Rooney's wrath. =D
No idea! Fine they did play well and yes there goal keeper is gd, but football is about playing fairly and equally with your whole heart- something which England showed (as well as their fans)
Portugal won because of cheap remarks from Ronaldo ( who by the way is a cheating scumbag who now thinks he is supreme because of that goal - which he isn't)
Beware Rooney's on the prowl for you mate!
Call me what you like I'm personally not bothered in the slightest.
At least we have decent men who showed grit and determination till the very end. And finished without violence or looking like sore losers.

Cristiano Ronaldo he's one of the youngest players and he's really good footballer...that's why i like him so damn much , and he is so cute he has a baby face , he will be better in the future i know he will....it seems like you dont know anything about football and if you do know then i'm absolutely sure that you dont know anything about Cristiano , he is 21 and the old Ronaldo is in Brasil , the one who is also good and he has no hair...
ANYWAYS i think Portugal deserves the winning cuz it worked hard for the world cup and i think it already proved it...

Portugal won all of their games in the group stage. England only managed two, and they didn't even score their own goal in the first one. England is a quarter-final team, that's it.

Becoz Portugal showed great stamnia till the last moments of the game & not only in football but also in other games there is much need of stamnia,if u lose it ,u'll lose the game as well.
