i think the 60,000 fans were to blame coz the noise of them!!! how on earth can they think that their players can concentrate with that noise?! expecting them to get it in! but too noisy for my liking!

Have you ever considered that was a tactical move? Portugal PURPOSELY drew the game DOWN so we could go to penalties because we knew the english would CHOKE!!!
Sorry, but when a goalie stops 3 penalties, Portugal deserves that vistory by far!

Portugal never deserved to win the game. They spent ages with an extra man advantage and sometimes looked the weaker team. They have cheated to eventually scrape a victory and send England home. Enjoy it while it lasts - if you can't score against an England 10 men team then you are no where near good enough to win the World Cup against teams such as Germany and Brazil who can actually play and win football without all the unsporting behaviour. Cheats never win in the end. Good luck.

Yay that means less "supporters" hogging the pubs and shouting and stuff. Whoopdydooooooooooooo!!!! I know there will be some people around here still watching the rest of it for the other teams but there won't be so many. England did well to get to the quarter finals though didn't they? Oh what a shame they aren't going any further. What a shame, look can you see how sad I am about it. :P
